How to Pamper Your Students During Testing
It's the Little Things:
A clean and organized testing environment paired with extra patience and encouragement can make all the difference.
Two peppermints placed on students’ desks 15 minutes into the test can be a small but powerful pick-me-up.
If your test schedule includes a break, consider offering mini water bottles and small bags of pretzels to keep energy levels steady.
Quiet Engagement Options
For students who finish early (if allowed by testing guidelines), have calming, non-academic activities available.
Coloring pages (Mandalas are always a hit!)
Simple puzzles or word searches
Independent reading books or blank paper for writing/drawing
